Jordan Dye, LCSW, EMT — therapist serving Ogden and Layton, Utah
About

Hi, I'm Jordan.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), an EMT, and a Behavioral Health Officer in the Army National Guard. With six years of clinical therapy experience and four years of enlisted military service prior to commissioning, I bring deep personal familiarity to the culture of service. My background in healthcare and the military gives me firsthand insight into shift work, critical incidents, and the unique weight that first responders, service members, and healthcare workers carry home. You won't have to translate your world or explain the culture to me — I already speak the language.

I have spent years working and volunteering as a Wilderness EMT, operating in unpredictable environments where high stakes and quick decisions are the norm. For the past decade, I've also taught BLS, First Aid, and Wilderness First Aid. Instructing others on how to stay calm and take action under pressure continues to shape how I approach crisis management, resilience, hands-on problem-solving and education in my practice.

My clients are often high performers: capable, dependable, and used to being the pillar for everyone else. Beneath that strength, many are exhausted — carrying stress, trauma, and burnout that never show up on the surface. My goal is to help you process what's stuck, lighten that load, and build a life focused on what truly matters to you.

Using evidence-based approaches like EMDR and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I offer down-to-earth therapy with no clinical jargon or pressure — just honest, collaborative work at your pace.

Outside the office, I recharge by staying active outdoors — whether that's hiking, rock climbing, or working in the yard. I'm an avid reader, usually cycling between professional development books and something purely for fun. Above all, I value time spent at home enjoying life with my wife and our two boys.
